Purposes of the processing

Duranet collects and processes the personal data of customers for the purposes of customer and order administration (e.g. customer administration, order and delivery follow-up, invoicing, solvency monitoring, profiling, marketing messaging and personalised advertising).

Basis for the processing

The processing is based on point (b) of Article 6(1) of the General Data Protection Regulation, namely necessity for the performance of a contract.

Transfer to third parties

If required for the performance of a contract, the customer’s personal details will only be shared with other companies in the European Economic Area directly or indirectly affiliated with Duranet.
Duranet guarantees that these receivers will take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect the personal data.

Retention period

Any personal data processed for the purposes of customer administration will be retained for the time period required to meet all legal requirements (including in the field of accounting).

Right of access, right to rectification, right to erasure, right to restriction, right to object and right to data portability

The customer always has the right to access their personal data and to have incorrect or incomplete personal data corrected or completed, have them removed, restrict their processing and object to the processing of any personal data concerning them based on point (e) or (f) of Article 6 (1), including profiling based on these provisions. The customer furthermore has the right to obtain a copy of their personal data (in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format) and to have these personal data transferred to a different company.

Direct marketing and mailings

The customer has the right to object to any processing of their personal data for direct marketing purposes free of charge.

Complaint

The customer has the right to lodge a complaint with the Commission for the Protection of Privacy (Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussel – commission@privacycommission.be).

Duranet makes use of your details (title, name, address, email address and/or company name) to send catalogues, newsletters and/or invitations. A maximum of 6 newsletters will be sent each year. MailChimp, or any other program used for sending our mailings, shall compile newsletter statistics and can determine on the basis of your email address whether you have opened the mailing and which links you have clicked on. We use this information in case of possible mailing follow-up by telephone. This information shall under no circumstances be shared with third parties or transferred to other agencies.
