Duranet will recycle all polypropylene reels
Environmental awareness has been important to Duranet since it was established in 1997. This is reflected, among other things, in a very limited residual waste stream leaving the company. In order to reduce this stream even further, a cooperation with Circle of Packaging was recently set up.
In our production process, a lot of sewing thread and ropes are used that are wound onto plastic reels. Based on a preliminary analysis of the various reels, it was decided to selectively collect all polypropylene reels from now on. After collection, these bobbins will be crushed and the crushed material will form the raw material for new products, such as plastic pallets. This way, Duranet tries to contribute to the reduction of waste and the reuse of waste materials.
